Hotel software for India

Best hotel management software in India: 6 options for 2026

Hotel software sold in India has to handle things a global product often skips: GST slabs by room tariff, MakeMyTrip and Goibibo, UPI, Tally and Form C. Here are six systems Indian hotels commonly consider, what each does well, and what to check before you choose.

By the StaySynq team · Updated October 2026 · StaySynq is one of the products listed.

What Indian hotels need from a PMS

  • GST done properly. Room GST depends on each night's tariff, invoices need SAC codes, and larger hotels need e-invoices with an IRN. Our guide to GST on hotel rooms explains the rules.
  • Indian OTAs. MakeMyTrip and Goibibo matter as much as Booking.com and Agoda, so check exactly how each system connects to them.
  • UPI and Indian payment gateways, with payments posting to the guest's bill automatically.
  • Restaurant, bar and banquets. Many Indian hotels earn a large share of revenue from food and events, and need them billed from the same system as rooms.
  • Accounting your CA already uses, which usually means Tally.
  • Paperwork: Form C for foreign guests and guest registers.

How we chose

We picked cloud systems that are sold to hotels in India and cover the front desk, billing and OTA distribution. Facts come from each vendor's own website, and from Capterra where noted, checked in October 2026. The order is not a ranking. StaySynq is our product, so we've listed its gaps as plainly as everyone else's.

Whichever system you choose, the steps are the same: export your data, map your channels, run both systems for a shift, then cut over on a quiet morning. Our free PMS migration checklist walks through all of it.

Common questions

Which is the best hotel management software in India?

It depends on the property. For a hotel with a restaurant, bar or banquets that wants GST handled in one system, StaySynq. For a built-in channel manager and published rupee prices, eZee Absolute. For a free trial and per-room plans, Hotelogix or mycloud. For revenue and distribution tools, DJUBO. For a large hotel or chain, IDS Next.

How much does hotel management software cost in India?

Of the six, eZee publishes prices from ₹7,200 a month for 1–5 rooms, mycloud from US$8 per room a month with a 20-room minimum, and Hotelogix publishes per-room plans. StaySynq, DJUBO and IDS Next quote on request. Ask what is included, since POS and the channel manager are often extra.

Is there free hotel management software in India?

None of these six is free. mycloud offers a 30-day free trial and Hotelogix a 15-day one, which is enough to test the front desk and billing with your own rates.

Which hotel software handles GST billing?

All six are sold to Indian hotels, but how they handle GST differs. Ask each vendor to show a GST invoice for a stay that crosses the ₹7,500 slab, an e-invoice with an IRN, and the report your accountant uses for GSTR-1. StaySynq covers all three; see GST billing.

Which systems connect to MakeMyTrip and Goibibo?

eZee Absolute lists MakeMyTrip among its 130+ channels. Hotelogix and DJUBO have their own channel managers. StaySynq connects two-way through a separate channel manager. In every case, confirm the specific OTAs you sell on before you sign.

How hard is it to change hotel software?

Most of the work is exporting your data, mapping your OTAs and running both systems for a shift. The PMS migration checklist covers each step.
