What's inside

Built for the way you actually work.

Hourly and day-use rates

Up to six slots per room type with their own price, plus a separate day-use rate and check-in window.

One availability calendar

Hourly bookings see overnight stays, blocks and room status, so a room is never sold twice.

Cleaning buffer

A turnover buffer (30 minutes by default, adjustable per room type) keeps time for housekeeping between guests.

Who hourly and day-use stays are for

Hotels near airports, railway stations and hospitals see steady demand for rooms for a few hours: transit passengers, business travellers who need a room between meetings, and families visiting patients. Day-use rooms also suit guests with late flights who need somewhere to rest after check-out. Selling these hours turns rooms that would sit empty during the day into revenue.

How hourly and overnight bookings share inventory

Hourly stays use the same availability engine as overnight bookings. Before a slot is offered, StaySynq checks overnight reservations, room blocks and the room's status, then adds the cleaning buffer after the hourly guest leaves. The same room can be sold for an afternoon slot and an overnight stay on the same day without anyone checking a spreadsheet.

Pricing hourly slots

Each room type can have up to six slots, each with a label, a number of hours and a price that can include or exclude tax. You choose whether hourly stays must be prepaid or follow your overnight payment policy, and give them their own cancellation policy. Hourly revenue shows up in its own report, so you can see whether the programme is worth the extra housekeeping.

FAQ

Hourly Stays questions.

Can the same room be sold hourly and overnight on the same day?

Yes. Hourly and overnight bookings share one availability calendar, and the cleaning buffer is added after each hourly stay.

How is cleaning time handled?

Each hourly stay reserves a turnover buffer after check-out: 30 minutes by default, and you can change it per room type.

Can hourly stays be prepaid only?

Yes. Choose prepaid-only or the same payment policy as overnight stays, and set a separate cancellation policy.

Can I sell hourly stays on OTAs?

Hourly stays are sold at the front desk today. Hourly-OTA connections depend on the channel, so ask about yours in the demo.
